On a cold winter's night in 1986, Walter Williams sat with a handful of guests in front of a crackling fire and told what he knew of the history of Rosendale. Fortunately, one of the guests had a camcorder. What follows is an edited transcript of that videotape (you can watch the video when you come to the Lake!).

It's a long story, so we've (somewhat arbitrarily) divided it into "chapters". Read one today, and another the next the next time you're here. The print edition is available at Williams Lake.
